What to Expect at Love Church on Your First Sunday

Walking into a new church for the first time can feel a little intimidating, especially if it has been a while, or you have never been to a Sunday service before. Here is exactly what to expect when you visit Love Church in San Diego, so the only thing you have to worry about is finding a parking spot.

Services run about 70 minutes and follow a simple rhythm: worship music, a welcome, and a life-giving message about Jesus. There is nothing complicated to follow along with, and no expectation that you know any songs, prayers, or Bible passages ahead of time.

What should you wear? Come as you are. You will see people in jeans and t-shirts right alongside people who got a little more dressed up, and both are completely normal here. Love Church is casual and friendly, so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Bringing kids? Our Love Club team creates a safe, fun, Jesus-filled space for children of all ages during the service, so you can be fully present in worship while your kids have a great time of their own.
